The Rec-T-Fire laser bore-sighter is an invaluable tool for shooters and hunters, for use in the shop or the field. It is more convenient, faster, easier to use and more precise than conventional bore-sighters.

How does it work?

The heart of the Rec-T-Fire system is a universal laser unit. This unit can be fitted into any number of caliber specific brass muzzle spuds in order to fit almost any firearm application.

The brass bore spuds assures a tight fit in the muzzle with no possibility of damage to the muzzle. The laser pointer is inserted into the end of the spud, and pushed far enough down to activate the laser by pushing the spring-loaded button on the back of the unit. The knurled ring is then tightened to keep the laser unit in place. The spud with laser installed is then inserted into the bore.

Bore-sighting is then accomplished by placing the firearm in a steady rest while the sights are adjusted to meet the laser spot on the target.

The laser unit backplate unscrews to reveal the battery compartment. Batteries are of the silver oxide type for long life in a small package.
