The Artists' Corner

Born in 1947, Didier de Martimprey, a former Beaux-Arts student, has been painting nature since he was six years old. 

A passionate game hunter, he works in his Nançay studio in the heart of Sologne, a French region rich in beautiful forests.

His true gift for animal painting, recognized by several competition first prizes, make him a highly reknown artist in the hunting world.

Realistic yet avoiding superfluous details, his painting style reflects his mind, full of sensibility, emotion and subtlety.

The animals are engraved from original works created specially for the objects shown here. Signed by the artist, these objects are rare and much sought-after collectibles.
