The VOCALIST SNIFFER is an intuitive, simple and reliable
infrared detector geared for game recovery.
The SNIFFER detects the heat emitted by the animal and indicates its direction thanks to LEDs, beep or vibration. These last two functions allow to look ahead instead of watching the SNIFFER. The SNIFFER is controlled from an intuitive keyboard with easy to understand graphic symbols. Its new generation processor decreases the probability of erroneous detections due to scanning speed based technology. Its advantage: it does not depend on the scanning speed. Yu scan the area once, Sniffer will indicate the most significant heat source. Just follow its direction while still aiming. A technological breakthrough SNIFFER operates in two different modes : normal mode and dual mode. In the latter, SNIFFER emits signals with its 4 sensors, which reduces erroneous readings when the user is looking a heat source in a "noisy" environment, but it decreases its sensitivity on bigger targets. Its principle Any warm-blooded animal sends out heat in the form of infrared rays. The SNIFFER detects these infrareds (from 7 to 14 µm), which remain invisible to man because his vision does not go over 0.6 µm. The SNIFFER adapts itself automatically to weather conditions. SNIFFER has three sensitivity levels to choose from, depending on the climatic conditions, the size of the animal and its distance. What makes the SNIFFER so clever? |

SNIFFER functions independently of the scanning speed, thus enabling you to aim the Sniffer at the heat source without having to scan constantly and adjust the scanning speed. This technological breakthrough reduces the probability to obtain inappropriate signals and enables the SNIFFER to function in all climatic conditions. To avoid erroneous signals, the SNIFFER measures simultaneously two zones as shown on these pictures. |
